And its not all French. As well as growing traditional regional food, all the sunshine allows us to grow lots of Asian ingredients too, Thai Basil, Coriander, Pak Choi, Bok Choi, Japanese Daikon Radish, Chilies from all over the world, Chinese Cabbage. Every year we discover something new to grow.

As our business grows, so does the number of guests we can accommodate. And so our latest idea ‘The Perigordian Experience’ was born. From 2016 onwards we will be inviting all our guests to enjoy an evening of food and wine. Using the food we grow as well as local produce, we are offering a 3 course Perigordian meal. Not only does it give us a chance to get to know our guests, it’s also a great opportunity for everyone to get together, swap tips on where to go and what to visit, as well as enjoy some good food and wine under the stars.
When we very first came to France all those years ago, one of the things right at the top of the list was to get the vegetable patch up and running. With good soil and lots of sunshine it wasn’t long before we were growing all sorts of salads, fruits and veggies. And along the way we have learned how to deal with huge gluts of nectarines, strawberries, onions, courgettes, tomatoes, pumpkins ..... the list goes on.

You name it, we’ve pickled it, preserved it, jammed it and dried it.
